Ronda was born on February 1, 1987, in Riverside County, California. Encouraged by her mother, who herself participated in the World Judo Championship, Ronda began her journey in martial arts with judo. However, she transitioned to a career in MMA at the age of 22. After a successful career, she retired from MMA in 2016, and as of 2024, she has a net worth of $14 million.
She is married to Travis Browne, who also is a mixed martial artist. They confirmed their relationship in October 2015 and got engaged in April 2017. Then, the couple married in Hawaii on August 26, 2017, and welcomed their daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō, in September 2021.
